Actors from the London Stage Present William Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew
Founded in 1978 by English actor Patrick Stewart (X-Men, Star Trek: The Next Generation) and now based out of Notre Dame University, the Actors From the London Stage come from such prestigious companies as the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre of Great Britain and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
At Seven Days, AFLS presents Shakespeare’s remarkable play of the battle between the sexes, The Taming of the Shrew. Devoted to educational outreach, the troupe will perform a week-long residency in Tallahassee, offering classroom workshops, on stage demonstrations, or informal meetings with students who want to know more.
