PRISM

PRISM

February 11, 2012 | 8pm
Ruby Diamond Concert Hall

PRISM – the gloriously noisy celebration of all things band and all things FSU – returns for what is certain to be yet another magnificently conceived, beautifully played, sell-out performance.

Featuring top music students from Florida State’s world-renowned wind and percussion programs, PRISM features the complete spectrum of band activities at FSU – Florida State Chamber Winds, the Campus Band, University Concert Band, Seminole Sound, University Symphonic Band, University Wind Orchestra, and, of course, the Marching Chiefs.

The repertoire will cover vast amounts of terrain, no doubt. Last year’s music ranged from Bach to the B-52s, from Gershwin to Journey. It happens, as always, under the astute direction of Dr. Patrick Dunnigan, Director of Bands at FSU.

If you’ve never seen a PRISM concert before, you need to. And if you’ve seen more than one, you know it’s always different, and always amazing.
